What we did in class:
- We looked at pages 204 - 220 in Myth and Meaning
- We discussed why it is relevant to discuss myth today.
- It's cultural relevance
- how it describes the human condition
- how it appears in cultures the world over
- first appearance of archetypes (later developed by Carl Jung)
- We discussed what a "Creation Myth" is and how it permeates world cultures.
- We watched a short video.
- We examined Egyptian Creation Myths in groups.
- each group read a myth
- and then summarized the myth
- then presented the myth to the class.

Work on Creating your first blog post.
